Annual clay day 2019

The event, to be held on Friday the 2nd August by gracious permission of Her Majesty The Queen, in aid of The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust and The Church of St. Peter Wolferton.

The event will take place on the stunning Royal Sandringham Estate, with a maximum of 30 teams of four, shooting five simulated game drives.

The cost of entry is £800 per team of four or £225 for an individual entry.

  • 08:30 Breakfast and Registration
    Breakfast Menu: Thick cut bacon in brioche buns with a choice of sauces
  • 09:30 Shooting Competition
  • 13:30 Lunch including speeches, fundraising auction and prizes
    Lunch Menu: Venison Asado with buttery griddled potatoes honey glazed carrots
    Butternut squash cooked dirty style and mixed griddled peppers with a colourful mixed salad and a range of artisan breads
    No dessert
There will be a short presentation by Jeremy Payne, Director of Fundraising at The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust. Jeremy is proud to be Director of Fundraising of probably the only wildlife conservation charity in the UK that believes and has proven that field sports (in particular shooting and fishing) can contribute substantially to the conservation of landscape, habitat and wildlife.

Entertainment will be provided after lunch by international tenor Jack Ollett.
