A GEORGE V SCOTTISH REGIMENTAL OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD FOR THE SCOTTISH BORDERERS,
early 20th Century, with 32 1/2in. double-edged plated steel blade with two narrow fullers on each side, etched on both sides with Royal cypher to one side and 'KING'S / OWN / SCOTTISH BORDERERS' and regimental crest over, ricasso with proved plug to one side and Edinburgh retailer's details over, plated cross-guard, wire-bound fish-skin grip and steel pommel, together with its field scabbard with plated steel fittings, etching thinned with a little staining to the blade, fish skin thinned in places, some plating lifted on pommel and chape, 40 1/4in. overall
