circa 1890, with octagonal 29 1/2in. barrel signed 'HUSQVARNA' on the left side-flat near breech, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight with two additional folding leaves, trade-mark to top-flat forwards of receiver bridge, rounded sporting-size action with off-set spur for the rolling block and central hammer spur, plain tangs, the whole with traces of faded colour, chequered walnut half-pistolgrip butt-stock, iron heel-plate, full-length 'stutzen-style' walnut fore-end, under-barrel clearing rod and swivels for sling
