dated 1903, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2024), high-velocity elevating rear-sight graduated to 2000 yards and with micrometer windage adjustment and bone inserts, chequered tops to the side protectors, block and blade fore-sight with inward curving side protectors, blued receiver, magazine cut-off, bolt with sliding charger guide, oval cocking-piece, side safety, detachable box magazine, butt-stock collar marked 'E.R.' under crown 'ENFIELD. 1903. SHT. L.E. I***.', on the right, full-length stock with front and updated rear long-range volley sights, canvas sling, the butt marked with the B.S.A. & M Co. roundel, brass identity disc marked '2. 131.', 13in. pull including brass buttplate with central trapdoor, weight 8lb. 14oz.
