dated 1910, 25 1/4in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2024), high-velocity elevating rear-sight graduated to 2000 yards with side protectors, block and blade fore-sight with side protectors, receiver fitted a telescopic sight, with flared brass ocular bell marked 'ALDIS BROTHERS. BIRMINGHAM. No. 68843. 1916.', 1in. tubed marked 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND.' and 'RIFLE. D. 4644' struck out, and 'Z. 1969', in quickly-detachable reproduction side-mounts, together with a period leather case with paper label to the lid interior, marked 'E 1789.', manual safety, detachable box magazine, full-length stock with some armourers repairs, one barrel band, 13 1/2in. pull including brass buttplate with central trapdoor, weight 9lb. 3oz.
