NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE' scroll engraving to rib-end and broad engraved band around breech, moulded scroll engraved action signed 'JOSEPH BRAZIER ASHES' on the table, long scroll engraved top-tang encompassing a circular vignette of a cock pheasant, signed scroll engraved bar-action locks (traces of colour) with engravings of game birds on the bars and panels of hunting dogs on the tails, scroll engraved dolphin headed hammers, chequered walnut butt-stock with engraved iron furniture, swing underlever and chequered walnut splinter fore-end with cross-key fastener
