circa 1900, 26 1/2in. blued ovoid barrel with matted sight flat, open rear sight with one folding leaf sight marked for '50' and '100' yards and with white metal inlaid sight lines, dove-tailed bead fore-sight, slab-sided action marked 'E.M. REILLY & CO. NEW OXFORD ST. LONDON. & RUE SCRIBE PARIS.' on the left side and 'MARTINI'S PATENT.' on the right, manual sidelever safety, cocking indicator, dropping feed ramp, border engraving, retaining some renewed blued finish, 14 1/4in. chequered walnut butt stock including steel buttplate, splinter fore-end, weight 5lb. 7oz.
