late 18th to early 19th century, with 27in. curved blade (stained), the back edge with 'T-bar' reinforcement except for the last false-edged 9 1/2in., a panel of gilt koftgari arabesques extending to 6in. from the hilt on both sides, brass cross-guard with engraved borders and lozenged finials, smooth hardwood pistol-grip scales held with brass pins and engraved brass grip-straps, in its sheet brass covered scabbard with central leather portion and decorated rope belt (split, losses and wear)
