circa 1860, with blued octagonal 4 3/8in. barrel, the top-strap signed 'GEO'E GIBBS, GUN MAKER, BRISTOL', dove-tailed fore-sight, notch rear-sight to top of standing breech, blued borderline engraved solid frame, blued matching number five-shot cylinder, double-action mechanism, walnut chequered and swept semi saw-handled grip with shallow domed iron butt-cap and fitted with a hinged Kerr Patent rammer, much original blued finish remaining, trigger return spring weak
