in the three-handle style associated with Paterson revolvers but probably from a combination cased Army & Navy set, iron body with turned wood handles of baluster form (age-cracks), brass reinforcing rings, the iron sprue-cutter marked 'COLTS PATENT' and fitted with a further smaller turned wood handle also with brass reinforcing ring, approximately 4 1/2in. overall closed
