circa 1875 and period made from original unused parts, with reblued octagonal 7 1/2in. barrel signed 'ADDRESS COL SAML. COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA' (refreshed), the aperture for original rammer filled and fitted with an ejector rod on the right side, roll engraved six-shot cylinder, open iron frame marked 'COLTS PATENT' (brushed bright and polished) and fitted with a loading gate, blued hammer and trigger, brass grip-straps and trigger guard and good replacement walnut grip
