A GOOD .38 (COLT) NICKEL-PLATED COLT 1877 'LIGHTNING' REVOLVER, serial no. 9606,
for 1878, with round 4 1/2in. London proved barrel signed on the top in two lines, clear etched calibre panel on the left side, solid frame, six-shot long-fluted cylinder, blued trigger and hammer, the latter with polished sides, chequered hard rubber birdshead grips, under-barrel ejector-rod with bullseye thumb-piece, retaining virtually all original finish and appearing little used
