LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, Gibbs & Pitt patent barrel-cocking hammerless action, patent no. 284 of 1873, use number 1177, stamped on the flats with the Webley & Scott trademark, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, removable striker discs, dipped-edge lockplates, stylised floral and foliate engraving, retaining very slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 7/8in. well-figured stock including 1 5/8in. wooden extension with heel and toe plates, weight 6lb. 12oz.
