circa 1862, with desirable 6 1/2in. octagonal barrel signed on the top-flat 'MANHATTAN FIREARMS MFG. CO. NEW YORK', dove-tailed brass fore-sight, sighting notch to the hammer nose, hinged under-barrel rammer, open iron frame of Colt style, roll engraved plain cylinder with ten locking notches, brass grip-straps and trigger guard bow with traces of silver plating and smooth walnut grip, traces of finish and colour throughout
