A 10-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED LIVE-PIGEON GUN, no visible serial number,
circa 1860, with 32 1/2in. round tapering barrel, the top carved with a tapering half sighting-rib signed 'T. BRADBURY, 119 WEST ST, SHEFFIELD', engraved breech-block with carved snail, fully engraved top-tang, both the block and the tang with engraved vignettes of gamebirds, border and scroll engraved bar-action lock signed in a scroll 'T. BRADBURY' and also featuring depictions of hunting dogs chasing rabbits, chequered walnut pistol-grip half-stock with replacement horn heel-plate, large silver escutcheon inlet to pistol-grip cap and complex shaped small escutcheon inlet to wrist engraved 'J.H. 724', fully engraved trigger-guard bow and tang and replacement fore-end tip, no provision for ramrod, traces of original finish
