circa 1845, with smoothbore heavy 36in. octagonal barrel signed 'ABERDEEN' on the top-flat, dove-tailed fore-sight, vacant dove-tail for rear-sight, scroll engraved breech-block and top-tang, borderline and scroll engraved bar-action lock signed 'R. WILSON', walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture white metal nose-cap and brass mounted mahogany ramrod, together with a number of period accessories including caps, a powder-flask, ball starter and scissors ball mould
