circa 1875, with 7in. barrel signed by the maker with patents to 1869 and ending in 'RUSSIAN MODEL', pinned nickel fore-sight blade, break-open frame with auto-ejecting fluted cylinder, long ejector housing, smooth walnut grips, the heel marked 'S.H.' in a diamond for the retailer Schuyler Hartley & Graham and fitted with lanyard ring, spurred trigger-guard, traces of nickel plating throughout
