A .442 (C/F) FIVE-SHOT POCKET-REVOLVER, MODEL 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG', serial no. 21831,
circa 1885, with 2 1/2in. ovoid barrel, small crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, the top-strap also marked 'THE BRITISH BULLDOG', solid frame marked 'WEBLEY'S PATENT' along with the winged bullet trademark, plain cylinder, double action mechanism chequered walnut birdshead grips and guarded trigger, the whole retaining the majority of its original nickel plated finish
