(rubbed), plain borderline engraved swing-lever rounded action, border engraved back-action locks signed 'CHA'S NEWTON', re-blued hammers, chequered walnut butt-stock, iron furniture, chequered walnut splinter fore-end with cross-bolt fastener, in a period 'Cha's Mcloughlin, Gloucester' oak and leather two tier guncase lined in red baize, the lower tray with provision for cartridges, the upper tray containing the gun, a pinfire loading tool, two shot measures, a chamber brush and oil bottle
