for 1980, with 9ft black powder proofed barrel painted blue and fitted with trunnions forwards of the breech, ramp mounted brass bead fore-sight, threaded breech-block, separate firing mechanism that slides over the breech-block and is screwed into place with centre-pull cocking piece, constructed of wood and metal, no visible makers name or marks (possibly obscured from paint), weight approx. 102lbs, together with a folder containing correspondence between the maker and the previous owner, and with 9 brass cartridge cases and some reloading equipment
