BALES IPSWICH', short side-ribs, platinum plug (nipple boss corroded), scroll engraved top-tang with an oval panel engraved with a gamebird in flight, border scroll and gamescene engraved bar-action lock (signature rubbed), walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, rectangular white-metal escutcheon behind top-tang, iron furniture including moulded and engraved nose-cap and replacement brass-tipped ramrod
