for 1855, with octagonal 7 1/2in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'ADDRESS COL. COLT, LONDON', bead fore-sight, London proofs, plain roll engraved cylinder (loss to detail), open iron frame marked 'COLT'S PATENT', dome headed action screws, iron grip-straps and trigger-guard, hinged under-barrel rammer and smooth walnut grips, older re-finish with some mild pitting.
