MERKEL 12-BORE DOUBLE-TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR USED FOR LUFTWAFFE GUNNERY TRAINING, serial no. 26964, 27in. nitro reproved barrels with 7mm ventilated matt top-rib, the right-hand barrel shoulder stamped with the Luftwaffe emblem, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full chokes, bolstered scroll-back action, hold-open toplever, manual safety, plain action, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock with applied comb, including buttplate, the right side of the stock marked with the Luftwaffe emblem (worn almost indistinct), weight 7lb. 10oz., in a wooden box, the exterior with escutcheon marked 'W.H. JONES. BRONALLT. GROES.
