circa 1856, with blued 4 3/8in. barrel, the top-strap signed 'DEANE & SON, LONDON BRIDGE', dove-tailed bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, plain five-shot cylinder, blued two-piece frame with swinging cylinder lock to the right hand side, spurred hammer, semi saw-handled chequered walnut grip, guarded trigger and hinged under-barrel rammer, strong amount of finish remaining, complete in its makers oak case compartmented and lined in green baize and containing a period flask, cleaning rod turnscrew and cap-tin
