circa 1904, with re-blued 6in. sighted barrel, stirrup catch with notch rear-sight, blued cylinder with 'zig-zag' indexing grooves and front locking notches (pitted externally), blued frame with detachable side-plate, the right hand side also numbered 'FU747', safety lever mounted on left hand side, chequered hard-rubber grips, the heel stamped '1916', lanyard ring at base retaining a period lanyard, the whole refinished
