A BRITISH LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICER'S SILVER AND IVORY MOUNTED SWORD, UNSIGNED,
circa 1800 but not hallmarked, of '1796 Pattern' style with broad curving shallow fullered 28in. blade, solid silver hilt with turned down quillion, broad langets to both sides and 'P' shaped knuckle-bow, smooth back-strap with doveshead pommel, chequered shaped marine ivory grip (age crack to left hand side) and complete with its silver mounted black leather scabbard (some minor denting and looseness to mounts) and a white doeskin and bullion portapee knot
