circa 1863, with semi octagonal tapering nickel 3 3/8in. barrel, rear-mounted nipple, boxlock central hammer action, smooth horn riveted side-scales with nickel mounts, nickel furniture to butt with apertures for a scissors mould (present) and a pair of tweezers (absent), cap box with sprung trapdoor at heel, flush folding trigger and two signed blades, one of 3in. dagger style and the other a narrow single edged 2in. utility blade, 6 3/4in. overall closed
