the number dating to 1967 but the action probably earlier, with expertly refinished round tapering 18 1/2in. barrel, dove-tailed block and blade fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, MK1 style loading tap, refinished air-chamber marked with the make and model and permanently fitted with two raised mounting blocks for a telescopic sight, custom trigger unit with external adjusters, the top machined and drilled for an aperture sight (absent), straight match trigger blade, figured custom walnut half-stock with full pistol-grip, chequered and extended with a finger rest, carved roll-over cheek-piece with adjustable auxiliary comb, ribbed end to the butt, the fore-end with deep blind finger-grove and chequered at the tip, fitted with a leather sling and swivels
