for 2000, 21 5/8in. unsighted nitro barrel including flared muzzle thread protector cap, the muzzle and cap engraved with a band at the join, the barrel engraved with the calibre designation, the nocks form engraved '.243 TIGHTNECK .270', the receiver (with thumb cutout) tapped for telescopic sight mount bases and profusely engraved with bold scrolling acanthus designs on a matted background, engraved butterknife bolt handle, engraved hinged floorplate with push button release, central banner initialled 'P.R.W.W.', highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, (some bruising at comb) sling eyes, 13 7/8in. pull including 3/8in. buttplate, weight 8lb. 4oz.
