circa 1875-76, with nickel-plated 6 1/2in. barrel (light marks and stains in the bore), the top-rib with patents to '1875' and reissue at '1871', break-open nickel-plated frame with auto-ejecting fluted cylinder, blued locking catch and spurred trigger guard, colour hardened hammer and trigger, smooth walnut grips, strong traces of original finish remaining
