circa 1856 with reblued octagonal 5 3/4in. barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight blade, the top-strap signed 'LONDON ARMOURY', borderline engraved solid frame marked 'B10743' over 'ADAMS PATENT 26386R', plain five-shot cylinder also marked with the '26386R' number, wingnut cylinder arbor retainer, sliding safe behind cylinder to right hand side, spurred double action only hammer, chequered walnut semi saw-handled grip, iron grip-cap and blued patent rammer mounted on the left hand side of barrel and numbered '147' on the inner face, the whole an older refinish with some mild shallow pitting
