circa 1866, with blued octagonal profile 3in. barrel, raised top-rib signed 'CONN. ARMS CO NORFOLK CONN', nickel crescent fore-sight, no provision for rear-sight, plain blued six-shot cylinder with two lines of patent details, brass solid frame (small traces of plating) with frame-mounted ejector, spur trigger, colour hardened hammer and smooth flared walnut grips, much blued finish remaining where appropriate
