AN IMPRESSIVE .900 INDIAN MATCHLOCK RAMPART GUN FROM JAIPUR, serial no. 3306, circa 1800, with heavy 38in. barrel possibly reduced during working life, bead front-sight and fixed vee block rear-sight, the breech with inscription in Hindi, and "JPR EXP 2 16147" an export marking applied back in the 1970 / 80's when it was exported to U.K. the pan cover missing, full stocked with tiller style butt and three crude barrel bands.
