Belgian circa 1890, by the firm of Simonis, Janssen and Dumoulin, with octagonal 4 1/2in. barrel, blued fluted cylinder, solid frame with hinged sideplate secured by the trigger-guard, loading gate with hammer interuptor on the right hand side, chequered walnut grips and iron pommel-cap with lanyard ring, much original finish remaining, black powder proof
