A RARE VICTORIAN CAVALRY LANCE, circa 1850, with socket-mounted iron spear point of 6 in. further attached to the shaft with two 16 in. langets bound with three iron bands, each with a drilled-through button for attaching a pennant, the shaft has a socket-mounted narrowing iron 5 1/2 in. terminal with short 1 1/2 in, langets, pitting to the ironwork, appears all original with consistent wear indicating this is as issued and not a marriage, approx. 9 3/4 feet total length
