* AN UNSIGNED .22 R.F SINGLE-SHOT MARTINI-ACTION MATCH RIFLE, serial no. 43971, circa 1900, 32 1/4in. octagonal barrel with matted sight flat, the adjacent flats marked 'KRUPP STAHL', ramped bead fore-sight, sliding adjustable open rear sight, top tang fitted with an adjustable aperture rear sight, complex finger-spurred triggerguard bow forming the underlever, double-set triggers, border engraving, retaining very slight traces of colour-hardening and finish, Tyrolean walnut butt-stock, with cheekpiece and thumb rest, Swiss-style heel-plate, weight 11lb. 12oz.
