circa 1892, with slightly flaring 2 1/2in. barrel, small crescent fore-sight, solid frame marked 'WEBLEY PATENTS' and with the 'winged bullet' trademark, the top-strap marked 'THE BRITISH BULL DOG' alongside the central sighting groove, plain cylinder, swing-out ejector and chequered walnut birdshead grips, much original plating remaining
