circa 1795, with two-staged 14in. barrel banded at the intersections, the octagonal section marked 'LONDON' and engraved with splayed needles behind the band on the upper flats and a further band at breech, flared cannon muzzle, iron triangular form bayonet with concave sides and retained via a catch on the tang mounted to top, iron bevel-edged flat lock with stepped and clipped tail engraved with borderlines and foliage and signed below the pan 'H. NOCK', walnut full-stock of shotgun form chequered at the wrist, brass furniture with galleon-hull heel-plate, guarded trigger and original ramrod (fractured)
