circa 1914, 30in. nitro barrels with raised tapered wave cut rib, the tubes engraved 'SHOT & REGULATED BY HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND STREET. LONDON.', the underside marked '2 3/4" SHELL' and with front sling swivel, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, stepped treble-grip action with hidden third bite, side-clips, automatic safety, plain action retaining traces of original colour-hardening and engraved 'W. & C. SCOTT & SON' to the sides, the triggerguard tang with the Scott castle trade mark, 15 1/4in. semi-pistolgrip stock including 1 3/4in. wooden extension, rear sling swivel removed, weight 7lb. 4oz.
