circa 1810, with rebrowned ovoid 4in. barrel, flat sighting plane, bead fore-sight and shallow notch rear-sight, engraved top-tang, flat bar-action lock signed 'HEATHCOTE' below the pan and with sliding safe behind the cock (currently not holding on cock), roller tipped spring to the frizzen, walnut full-stock with chequered bag-shaped grip, iron trigger-guard and brass-tipped ramrod
