A WHITE-METAL MOUNTED MOROCCAN JAMBIYA DAGGER,
late 19th to early 20th century, with curving 9in. blade edged for half its length on the outer side and 4/5ths of its length on the inner (traces of watering), typical brass hilt overlaid with scroll embossed white-metal further detailed with poly-chromatic inlays to the front, the reverse plain brass, the scabbard overlaid with pierced and scrolled white metal with carved and moulded bands, geometric mounts at tip and pierced belt-mount (one mount absent)
