circa 1900, with 3in. nickel-plated sighted barrel marked on the left side with a later South African registration number 'T8849', barrel locking latch chequered to the upper face, fluted cylinder, break-open frame marked 'WEBLEY PATENTS W.P. 320' on the right hand side, rocking frame mounted cylinder release locking-catch, double action mechanism with exposed hammer, chequered hard-rubber grips and retaining the majority of its original plated finish throughout
