28in. nitro barrels with side-ribs and 9mm ventilated matt top-ribs, gold-inlaid '1' and '2' and engraved 'BOSS & CO. 13 - 14 CORK STREET. LONDON. W.1.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and 1/4 choke, hold-open toplevers, gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators (one a replacement without gold), incorporating Boss patent barrel locking actions, patent no. 3307 of 10th February 1909, Boss patent improved ejector mechanisms, patent no. 3308 of 10th February 1909, Boss improved patent single-triggers, patent no. 11278 of 30th May 1905, bouquet and scroll engraving, brushed bright finish overall, 15 1/8in. figured straight hand stocks including 7/8in. leather-covered recoil pads, weight 7lb. 5oz.
