circa 1875, with re-blued 28in. probably replacement barrel, raised sighting rib with large raised-ramp fore-sight, dove-tailed standing-notch rear-sight with three additional folding leaves, re-coloured scroll engraved receiver (loss to detail) stamped 'WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT EXPRESS' on the left hand side, re-stocked with a chequered walnut capped pistol-grip butt-stock and raised cheek-piece imitating the original, orange rubber 'Silvers' butt-pad, re-coloured under-lever, trigger-guard bow and loading ramp, renewed chequered walnut splinter fore-end with ebony tip
