(65cm) nitro reproved monobloc barrels with fine efflorescent engraving at the breech end, 11 punch marks, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and 3/4 choke, wall thicknesses at 19 and 18, sprung sliding-breech with converging obturator discs, button barrel release, manual side safety with gold-inlaid 'F' and 'S' details, carved leaf fences, bold and fine acanthus scroll engraving interspersed with floral bouquets and with finely engraved scenes of red deer and boar and hound, bright finish overall, 14 7/8in. highly figured stock with pale horn buttplate, dark horn fore-end finial, weight 6lb.
