A .45 (LONG COLT) SIX-SHOT ENGRAVED SINGLE-ACTION PRESENTATION REVOLVER, MODEL '1873 ARMY', serial no. 109010,
for 1884, with 4 3/4in. barrel bearing a two-line address, American scroll engraving to the muzzle and breech, open loose scroll engraving along the barrel sides, repeated on the top-strap, scroll engraved frame (obscuring the three-line patent details), scroll engraved fluted cylinder, shell engraving to the top of back-strap, the back-strap engraved with 'W. G. PETTY', the heel engraved 'MAY 9 = '84', one piece smooth ivory grip, mostly stripped of finish with small traces of nickel-plate
Other Notes: Whilst information from the vendor suggests this is factory engraved it has not been possible to confirm this.
