AN UNUSUAL 13-BORE PERCUSSION SINGLE-BARRELLED SPORTING-GUN SIGNED 'BRADLEY', no visible serial number,
circa 1820 and probably converted from tube-lock, with round damascus 30in. barrel with possibly later applied top-rib (slightly miss-shapen) signed in gold script at the breech 'STURMAN, BARNSLEY', bead fore-sight, iron moulded fore-end edge protectors, two sets of gold parallel lines inlaid at breech, replaced nipple, borderline and acanthus leaf engraved top-tang inhabited by a pheasant, borderline, acanthus leaf and game-scene engraved bar-action lock signed in gold script 'BRADLEY', slab-sided hammer of tube-lock style with replaced nose, figured walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist (worn smooth), acanthus leaf engraved iron furniture inhabited by game-birds, nickel-silver fore-end cap, ramrod thimbles with rolled ends and possible period ramrod
