circa 1860, with slightly shortened 27in. twist iron barrels, the top-rib with traces of a London address, scroll-engraved rounded action-body with Jones style under-lever, border, scroll and gamescene engraved back action locks, scroll engraved dolphin headed hammers, long top-tang, chequered walnut butt-stock with iron heel-plate, chequered full-length grip safety to the bottom tang, walnut splinter fore-end (losses at tip), the whole with staining and some pitting
