26in. unsigned nitro barrel with block-mounted folding leaf sight marked for 100 yards, block-mounted bead foresight, the hand mounted with a folding adjustable peep-sight, frame number 759, signed on the left 'GEORGE GIBBS. BRISTOL', safety lever with gold 'BOLTED' detail on the right, (sliding bolt likely replacement), fine floral and scroll engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/8in. well-figured pistolgrip stock with engraved steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap) and engraved and chequered steel buttplate, weight 6lb. 4oz.
