circa 1620, with triple staged 14in. iron barrel (slightly shortened and small crack at muzzle), armourer's stamp of a letter 'H' and a crescent together with a shield-shaped device (the last partial), plain iron lock with tear-drop tail, pierced vertical frizzen bridle, replaceable pan, screwed hammer-stop, squared hammer and swinging hammer safety, plain walnut full-stock with carved apron around the top-tang, plain butt swelling at the pommel with iron band reinforcement, sheet-iron trigger-guard bow fixed from the underside, three large side-nails, iron reinforcing band at muzzle and replacement iron tipped ramrod
